Two Days Unlearning Leadership In An Ancient Sussex Woodland

No phones. No watches. No contact.

Including a 14-hour solo - sleeping alone beneath the trees.

This is not for everyone

This is a pattern interrupt -
a step out of the noise of modern work
and into the wisdom of the wood.

Sensing into a new way to lead and live.

A return to older rhythms.

Where growth comes from rootedness.
Where clarity comes from what you’re willing to let end.

Where creation and destruction sit side by side.

For those curious to uncover their roots,
move with a different rhythm,
and let what no longer fits fall away -

so something new can bloom.

All the while, remembering, of course: nothing grows for ever.

The Drift

Running businesses, leading teams, holding it all together (blah, blah, blah!) -
it works.

Until, quietly, it doesn’t.

You might recognise this:

  • You’re playing a role your heart knows is done

  • You’re circling the same decisions, and returning

  • You’re in a kind of slack water - the old receding, the new not yet formed

  • On the outside, things look fine

  • On the inside, flat, frustrated, lacking joy

You’re not yet an old toy. Broken.
But the old clothes no longer quite fit.

And without space, it continues.

More thinking.
More noise.
More drift.

Why This Exists?

ShivaTime is a pattern interrupt.

A sacred pause. A return to your bigger nature.

Not to add more ideas, frameworks, or plans -
but to remove what is longer fits . Creating space for your mighty Oak to grow. Reveling in new connections. Nurturing conditions. Strong roots

To step out of the noise of your mind
and into something older, slower, and more powerful.

What Is ShivaTime? And Who Is It For?

This two-day immersion is a pattern interrupt.

A small group. No more than 10.
No phones. No watches. No external contact.

Time is structured simply -
to nourish the soil of your mind.

We’ll draw on ancient principles, meditative practise, contemporary leadership thinking,
and the wisdom of the natural world.

Very little teaching.
A small number of simple practices.
Space to think, and talk - and to stop thinking.

At the centre:

A 14-hour solo.

You, alone, overnight in the woods.

No inputs. No distractions.

Just you - and what remains when everything else falls away.

Over the two days, you may find:

  • You see clearly what you’ve outgrown - roles, projects, identities

  • You feel more at ease in uncertainty, learning to control a little less

  • Head, heart, and gut begin working together again

  • A few things fall away, creating space for something new

  • Your next steps become simpler, clearer, more obvious

And you leave with:

A sense of being rooted again.
Less pulled by noise.
More steady in yourself.

Knowing what to grow -
and what to let fall away.

Who Is It For?

Curious, wise leaders. You might lead your own business, or someone else’s. You might be feeling the drift, and wishing to interrupt. You’ll know the old ways of thinking and doing have run their course. You’re sensing that the seasonal wheel of your life and work is turning, to where you’re not sure.
